2010 Fall Session Registration Information:

 

You may register for classes by telephone (740.625.9324) or e mail (equineassistedtherapy@embarqmail.com) until  August 20. Please read the following information carefully!
  • New students must arrange for an informal interview prior to registering to be sure we can safely meet each client's needs.
  • All students must have a new Rider's Medical Release Form on file each year.

  • Please refer to the Program Information page for specifics on our programs.

  • Fall Session begins the week of August 30. We will offer an 8 week session. The last day of the session is October 23, 2010.  There will be NO classes on Monday September 6 for Labor Day.
  • We need your first and second choice of days/times and class type you are interested in. We will do our best to give you your first preference.

Program Fees:

Full and Partial scholarships are available for those who demonstrate financial need. Please don't hesitate to ask! No one is ever turned away for financial reasons.

Therapeutic Horseback Riding & Horsin' Around

  • $40 per class for a group lesson

  • $58 per class for a private lesson

    IMPORTANT REMINDERS:

  • There are no refunds for missed classes. Your tuition holds your place in class, whether you use it or not.

  • Make-up lessons will be offered based on availability, but are not guaranteed.

  • If we are forced to cancel classes due to dangerous weather conditions, your tuition will be credited or refunded.

  • If we are unable to ride due to inclement weather, volunteer absences, or horse illness/injury; arena activities will be substituted with barn activities.

  • Dress in layers and remember even though we may be indoors, it is NOT heated.

  • Students arriving more than 15 minutes late for a lesson will not be able to participate in the mounted lesson.  If you know you are going to be late, please telephone the instructor as soon as possible.

  • Equine Assisted Therapy, Inc. reserves the right to add, combine, or change class time offerings based on client and staff schedules.

  • Equine Assisted Therapy, Inc. reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service to any student who exhibits unsafe, unruly, or disrespectful behavior toward the staff, volunteers, horses or environment.  Similarly, Equine Assisted Therapy, Inc. reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service to any student whose family member or caregiver exhibits unsafe, unruly, or disrespectful behavior toward the staff, volunteers, horses or environment.
