Riding

Participants use their abilities to learn the actual skills involved in riding a horse. We utilize specially trained horses, volunteers, instructors, and adaptive equipment to encourage participants to be as independent as possible. Riding sessions can include grooming and tacking, playing with horses on the ground, formal riding instruction, games on horseback, exercises, and sensory trail rides. We offer riding lessons with an emphasis in natural horsemanship.

Horsin' Around

This program is designed for independent disabled riders, as well as non-disabled beginner and intermediate kids and adults. Volunteers are welcome too! Students learn the basics of handling horses on the ground in addition to learning how to have independent hands and seat while riding.  Students will be grouped by age and ability for group lessons. Private lessons are also available. Classes focus on learning natural horsemanship techniques, empowering students to be well-rounded equestrians.
